The third day of the residency began with Barbara and Michael interacting with the left overs on the studio floor from the day before (first image). They marked off the pieces of cloth by using red strips of tape paralleling tthe distinct edges. This marked the floor to later become traces of the cloth pieces for when they would likely move. By the afternoon Catherine Kmita joined the collaboration and there began another iteration of movements of the cloth and paper streamers that echoed the paper towel from Monday with a sound track of spontaneous vocalizations Barbara and Michael made a few months before. This second photo above captures some of the activity of the movements and re-marking with tape, creating another layer on the floor.
