Hey all, just a quick update, a new project of writing a novel of ideas, to continue utilizing aesthetic and arts-based approaches to inquiry into the topic of fear and fearlessness, as well really enjoying the form (new to me) of novel and fiction/non-fiction with didactic material included. I have noticed the stark contrasting spaces of the ABER studio of light (classroom) and dark (performance stage) and the threshold we may or may not wish to cross. As we had a group of enthusiastic learners join us in discussion of our paper on aesthetic wit(h)nessing and other work they and we were doing, I was aware we were all sitting in the light side (classroom) and none of us traversed into the dark side.
